No. It requires the same amount of time to prepare the horses and equipment regardless of the carriage distance traveled. The cost covers the transportation and preparation of the equipment and horses. Q. Why is there a two hour minimum for weddings? A. Most people inquire about the two hour minimum fee for a wedding. We have found that two hours is the average amount of time needed. Remember, the two hour time period is yours to decide how you would like to use. (Weddings) Q. Can the horses deal with heavy traffic? A. Yes, the horses have had plenty of experience with busy streets and the carriages are equipped with safety markers and flashers. Q. What if I want to rent your services after dark? A. Our carriages are equipped with head lamps, side markers and tail lights. We have also found it adds to the safety of the carriage riders and the horses to have a vehicle follow along behind. |
