Historical Tours The Lexington Carriage Company offers an intriguing way for you and yours to tour this unique 19th century college town. Slowed to the pace and rhythm of hoof-beats, horse-drawn carriages travel the streets moving through Lexington and its history. While on tour your carriage will take you past the Stonewall Jackson House, Lee Chapel, Washington and Lee University, and the historic residential district. You will also pass by the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery where your tour guide will point out the tomb of Stonewall Jackson. Each tour is narrated by a professional Carriage Driver/ Tour Guide along the entire route. Season: April 1 - October 31 Hours: Daily including holidays (except in inclement weather), regularly 11:00AM to 5:00PM. During June, July and August - 10:00AM to 6:00PM. The last tour of the day may leave 30 minutes earlier when booked. Tour Length: 40 to 45 minute narrated tour Location
